As a Marketing Personalization Strategy Manager, you will lead personalization and journey strategy using digital marketing platforms including Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) and Data360 (DataCloud). This role focuses on defining personalized marketing campaigns including customer journeys, use cases and success metrics, working closely with digital Channel Owners, Marketing Strategists, and the Marketing Cloud Platform Manager to ensure personalization drives measurable business impact for IDEXX.
This role is the strategic owner of “what” and “why” - ensuring MCP is used to deliver relevant, effective customer experiences across touchpoints.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role:
- You will partner with web, email, and mobile channel owners to define personalization strategies and customer journeys across touchpoints using MCP.
- You will collaborate with Marketing Strategists to translate business objectives into personalization use cases, journey logic, and success metrics (e.g., conversion rate, engagement, revenue impact).
- You will prioritize and roadmap MCP use cases based on business value, feasibility, and performance impact.
- You will define test-and-learn frameworks including A/B and multivariate testing strategies, hypotheses, and success criteria.
- You will analyze campaign performance and personalization outcomes; present actionable insights and recommendations to optimize journeys.
- You will act as the primary business stakeholder for MCP initiatives, partnering closely with the Marketing Cloud Platform Manager for execution.
- You will advocate personalization best practices and a customer-centric mindset across Marketing teams.
- You will contribute to governance by supporting campaign prioritization, documentation standards, and compliance alignment (in partnership with technical and privacy teams).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Strategic & Analytical qualifications:
- Strong ability to convert business goals into clear personalization and journey strategies.
- Experience defining KPIs, measuring performance, and optimizing campaigns based on data.
- Comfortable working with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, optimization).
Collaboration & Communication skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to align marketing, analytics, and technical teams.
- Able to articulate personalization use cases, impact on customer experience and business results to both senior executives as well as cross functional teams.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in digital marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or personalization strategy.
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP / Interaction Studio / Everage) in a strategic or product-owner capacity.
- Experience with customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience operating in large, cross-functional, and global organizations.
- Fluency in English.

- Base annual salary target: $120K - $135K DOE.
