Which companies sponsor visas for revenue operations managers in Maryland?
Federal contractors and defense technology firms in the Bethesda and Rockville areas, including Leidos and SAIC, are among the more active H-1B sponsors in Maryland. Cybersecurity companies like Tenable and healthcare technology employers in the Baltimore corridor also file LCAs for revenue operations roles. Sponsorship activity tends to concentrate in companies with established international hiring programs and dedicated HR infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for revenue operations manager roles in Maryland?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for revenue operations manager positions in Maryland. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, data analytics, finance, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1B intracompany transferee status or O-1 visas may also find pathways through employers with existing international operations headquartered in the state.
Which cities in Maryland have the most revenue operations manager sponsorship jobs?
Bethesda and Rockville, situated along the I-270 technology corridor, account for a significant share of Maryland's revenue operations manager sponsorship activity due to the density of federal contractors and SaaS companies there. Baltimore's growing life sciences and cybersecurity sectors also generate RevOps demand. Annapolis and Columbia serve as secondary hubs, particularly for financial services and government technology firms.
How to find revenue operations manager visa sponsorship jobs in Maryland?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse revenue operations manager roles in Maryland without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by state and role type to surface employers actively filing LCAs in the Baltimore-Washington region. Pairing Migrate Mate with DOL LCA disclosure data gives you a clear view of which Maryland employers have a documented history of sponsoring this role.
Are there any Maryland-specific considerations for revenue operations manager sponsorship candidates?
Maryland's proximity to federal agencies means many employers operate under government contracts, which can affect hiring timelines and clearance requirements for RevOps roles. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage determinations for revenue operations managers in the Baltimore-Columbia-Towson metropolitan area set the floor that sponsoring employers must meet. Candidates with backgrounds in federal technology or healthcare IT tend to be particularly competitive given the state's dominant industry mix.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored revenue operations manager jobs in Maryland?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
