Migrate Mate surfaces that filing history so you can apply with confidence.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for automotive E-3 sponsorship?
Massachusetts has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal E-3 rules, but the state's high concentration of technology and engineering employers means competition for specialty occupation roles is significant. The state's strong research and development ecosystem also means many automotive roles involve university or government partnerships that can affect job classification.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 automotive jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
