Which companies sponsor visas for partnerships leads in Massachusetts?
Boston-area technology and life sciences companies are among the most active sponsors for partnerships lead roles. Firms like HubSpot, Wayfair, Biogen, and MathWorks have filed H-1B visa petitions for business development and partnerships positions. Enterprise software companies headquartered in Cambridge and Waltham also appear frequently in Department of Labor disclosure data for this type of role.
Which visa types are most common for partnerships lead roles in Massachusetts?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnerships leads in Massachusetts. USCIS generally requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it typically needs to require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may also explore the L-1A or L-1B categories depending on their work history.
How to find partnerships lead visa sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search partnerships lead roles in Massachusetts without sorting through positions that won't support an international candidate. The platform surfaces employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas, which is particularly useful in Greater Boston where some companies hire internationally for partnerships functions while others do not.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most partnerships lead sponsorship jobs?
Boston and Cambridge account for the majority of partnerships lead sponsorship activity in Massachusetts, driven by concentrations of enterprise tech companies, biotech firms, and startup ecosystems around Kendall Square and the Seaport District. Waltham and Burlington, both established technology corridors along Route 128, also show consistent hiring for this type of role at mid-size and larger employers.
Are there any state-specific considerations for partnerships lead candidates seeking sponsorship in Massachusetts?
Massachusetts employers sponsoring H-1B workers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, and partnerships lead roles are typically benchmarked against business development or sales operations wage levels for the Boston metropolitan area, which are among the higher prevailing wage tiers nationally. The state's strong university pipeline, including MIT, Harvard, and Northeastern, also means employers here are generally familiar with international hiring processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships lead jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
