Role Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager will support the development of U.S. marketing strategies and lead execution of key initiatives for the solid tumor oncology portfolio. This role will primarily focus on the IDH-targeted franchise (VORANIGO and TIBSOVO) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive brand performance, customer engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Planning
- Support development of U.S. strategic marketing plans for solid tumor brands
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies, KPIs, and resource allocation
- Utilize market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to guide decisions
- Incorporate global best practices and industry trends
2. Marketing Execution & Content Development
- Lead digital and omnichannel marketing initiatives (web, email, media campaigns)
- Manage HCP (Healthcare Professional) media planning and optimization
- Collaborate with external agencies for creative development and campaign execution
- Drive innovation through new channels, personalization, and emerging technologies
- Track and optimize KPIs using analytics tools and dashboards
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards
- Support congress activities including booth strategy, content, and training
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, Regulatory, and Communications teams
- Work with analytics and market research teams to derive insights and improve performance
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams for campaign execution and KPI tracking
- Coordinate with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical teams for promotional approvals
4. Leadership & Influence
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Present insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to leadership
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Science, Arts, or related field); MBA preferred
- 5+ years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
- Minimum 2+ years in marketing roles
- Experience in oncology, solid tumors, or rare diseases strongly preferred
Core Skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies for product growth
- Strong experience with digital marketing campaigns and product launches
- Knowledge of omnichannel marketing and promotional mix optimization
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory environment
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Technical Skills
- Experience with tools such as Veeva CRM and Vault PromoMats (preferred)
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and KPI tracking
