- Provide comprehensive medical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, patient education, and preventive health services.
- Manage complex and chronic conditions, including diabetes and hypertension.
- Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and supervision to mid-level providers and assigned interns.
- Participate in on-call coverage, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with organizational policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
- Maintain licensure, board certification requirements, and continuing medical education.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in the applicable primary care specialty, with completed residency or equivalent experience.
- Current credentialing and privileging.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
- Knowledge of chronic disease management, medication management, quality improvement, and collaborative patient care.
- Ability to provide clinical leadership, consultation, and supervision.
Additional Requirements
- Travel between TBCHS locations may be required.
- Participation in evening and weekend on-call coverage.
- Must maintain required professional liability coverage.
