Which companies sponsor visas for customer success roles in Minnesota?
Several large Minnesota employers have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for customer-facing and account management roles. UnitedHealth Group, Target, and Optum are among the state's most active sponsors. Growing SaaS companies headquartered in Minneapolis, particularly in healthtech and fintech, also sponsor customer success managers. Checking a company's OFLC disclosure data is a reliable way to confirm past sponsorship activity before applying.
Which visa types are most common for customer success roles in Minnesota?
H-1B is the most common visa for customer success roles in Minnesota, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, communications, or information technology. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under the NAFTA/USMCA professional category. Australian citizens can explore the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and significantly shorter processing timelines.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most customer success sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and Saint Paul account for the large majority of customer success sponsorship opportunities in Minnesota. The Minneapolis metro area hosts a dense concentration of enterprise software, healthtech, and financial services companies that hire customer success managers internationally. Rochester has a smaller but notable cluster tied to healthcare technology, particularly companies adjacent to Mayo Clinic's ecosystem. Remote-friendly roles headquartered in these cities also appear regularly.
How to find customer success visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters customer success roles in Minnesota by visa sponsorship willingness, so you're not sifting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. The platform surfaces roles at companies with documented sponsorship histories in the Twin Cities and broader Minnesota market, saving significant research time. Filtering by role type and state gives you a targeted list relevant to your visa situation.
Are there any Minnesota-specific considerations for customer success visa sponsorship?
Minnesota's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions are determined by the Department of Labor based on the specific metro area, with Minneapolis-Saint Paul wages generally reflecting a competitive market for customer success roles. The University of Minnesota and other local institutions produce graduates who enter customer success pipelines, meaning international candidates benefit from targeting mid-market and enterprise employers rather than entry-level roles where sponsorship is less common.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer success jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
