Which companies in Minnesota sponsor visas for partnerships associates?
Large Twin Cities employers with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors for partnerships associate roles in Minnesota. UnitedHealth Group, Target, Best Buy, Medtronic, and Cargill have each filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for business development and partnerships functions. Mid-sized B2B software companies headquartered in Minneapolis, including several in the health technology space, also sponsor these roles, though less frequently than enterprise employers.
What visa types are most common for partnerships associate roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnerships associates in Minnesota, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Candidates already holding OPT or STEM OPT through universities like the University of Minnesota or University of St. Thomas may also be attractive to employers who want to evaluate fit before committing to H-1B sponsorship.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most partnerships associate sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and St. Paul together account for the vast majority of partnerships associate sponsorship jobs in Minnesota. The Minneapolis metro concentrates corporate headquarters, regional offices, and technology companies that generate most business development hiring. Rochester has a smaller but active hiring base tied to Mayo Clinic's partner ecosystem. Outside these metro areas, sponsorship opportunities for this specific role become significantly less common.
How to find partnerships associate visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find partnerships associate roles in Minnesota without sorting through positions that don't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to surface active openings from Twin Cities employers in technology, healthcare, and retail corporate sectors. Checking Migrate Mate regularly is useful because sponsorship-eligible roles in this field turn over quickly in competitive hiring markets.
Are there any Minnesota-specific considerations for partnerships associates seeking visa sponsorship?
Minnesota's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters means many partnerships associate openings sit within large companies that have dedicated HR and immigration teams, which generally makes the sponsorship process more structured than at smaller firms. The University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and St. Thomas's Opus College of Business produce pipelines of international business graduates that some local employers are already familiar with sponsoring, which can ease the process for recent graduates in this field.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships associate jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
