Which companies sponsor visas for sales operations roles in Minnesota?
The most active sponsors for sales operations roles in Minnesota include UnitedHealth Group, Target, Best Buy, and Medtronic, along with mid-size SaaS and medical device companies headquartered in the Twin Cities. These employers have established H-1B sponsorship histories and regularly hire for CRM management, revenue analytics, and go-to-market operations functions that qualify as specialty occupations.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations roles in Minnesota?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for sales operations professionals in Minnesota, particularly for roles involving data analysis, Salesforce administration, and revenue operations strategy, which typically require a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field. L-1B visas occasionally apply for specialized knowledge transfers within multinational companies with Minnesota offices, such as large healthcare or retail conglomerates.
Which cities in Minnesota have the most sales operations sponsorship jobs?
Minneapolis and St. Paul account for the vast majority of sales operations sponsorship opportunities in Minnesota. The broader Twin Cities metro, including suburbs like Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, and Plymouth, is where most major employers with active H-1B sponsorship programs are based. Rochester sees some demand tied to Mayo Clinic's commercial operations, but volume there is significantly smaller than the metro area.
How to find sales operations visa sponsorship jobs in Minnesota?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and filters jobs by role and state, making it straightforward to browse active sales operations openings in Minnesota from employers with documented sponsorship history. Using Migrate Mate helps you focus on companies already familiar with H-1B processes for RevOps and CRM-focused roles, rather than screening hundreds of listings manually.
Are there any Minnesota-specific considerations for sales operations sponsorship candidates?
Minnesota's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters in healthcare, retail, and financial services means many sales operations roles here sit within large, well-resourced HR departments that are experienced with H-1B filings. The Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirements apply to all H-1B positions, so sponsored roles at established Minneapolis employers tend to offer compensation benchmarked to local market rates for sales operations functions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations jobs in Minnesota?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
