About this opportunity
The Align Sales Operations team is seeking a Sales Operations Business Partner to support the Strategic Partnerships organization across the US and Canada. This role will serve as the primary operations partner to Strategic Partnerships, enabling scalable growth, protecting revenue integrity, and establishing the systems and governance required to support Align’s expanding partner ecosystem.
This individual will work closely with Strategic Partnerships leadership, Business Development, and cross‑functional partners including Pricing, Finance, Legal, Customer Care, and IT. The role blends hands‑on operational execution with process design, data stewardship, and continuous improvement to support complex partnership models at scale.
About Special Markets and Alternative DSOs
Align’s Strategic Partnerships program supports large, complex partner organizations—including DSOs, OSOs, corporate groups, and other strategic entities—who partner with Align to drive mutual growth. This rapidly growing segment represents many of Align’s largest and most strategic customers and was established as a core pillar of Align’s global strategy in 2022. Growth is driven through new partner acquisition as well as expansion via affiliate growth, acquisitions, and same‑store performance.
Role expectations
- Serve as the Operations Business Partner for Strategic Partnerships
- Partner closely with Strategic Partnerships Business Development teams to support prospecting, financial modeling, contracting, CRM data integrity, and account health in a rapidly evolving and often ambiguous operating environment.
- Act as the primary point of operational ownership for complex, new, or escalated partnership requests, defining workflows where none exist, establishing clarity, accountability, and driving timely resolution across stakeholders.
Own Partnership Roster Governance & Data Infrastructure
- Own end‑to‑end management of Strategic Partnership doctor and account rosters in Salesforce, including doctor matching by unique ID, group affiliation tracking with effective dates, and ongoing add/remove cadence tied to promotions and eligibility.
- Define and operationalize onboarding, patient transfer, and off‑boarding processes for partners and affiliates, ensuring accuracy and scalability as partnership models evolve.
- Build and manage cohort structures to enable standardized performance measurement and ROI analysis, developing new measurement frameworks as partnership programs launch.
- Own Salesforce operational administration for Strategic Partnerships, including account hierarchies, pricing configuration, data hygiene, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
Protect Revenue Through Promotion, Enrollment & Credit Governance
- Design, execute, and track Strategic Partnership promotions and enrollments, including voucher and promo code requests, terms & conditions submissions, and Salesforce enrollments, establishing governance models from the ground up where needed.
- Own operational visibility and tracking for billing, invoicing, credits, rebills, and subscription corrections related to partnership agreements through final resolution.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and partners on pricing structures, contractual terms, and promotion mechanics, ensuring pricing is accurately configured and revenue integrity is protected.
Enable Contracting & Commercial Operations
- Support the development, execution, and tracking of sales contracts for Strategic Partnership accounts.
- Maintain an accurate and standardized internal contract repository with all relevant documentation.
- Develop and maintain tools to monitor contractual compliance, growth targets, and program requirements, partnering with Strategic Partnerships to resolve gaps.
- Collaborate with Sales Management, Legal, Finance, and Pricing to review and evolve contracting strategies as partnership models scale.
Drive Continuous Improvement & Operational Enablement
- Design and build foundational operational processes as this segment of the business launches, operating effectively with limited precedent and evolving requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, data quality, and cross‑functional workflows supporting Strategic Partnerships.
- Provide interim ownership for exception‑based workflows, with a focus on stabilization, documentation, and transition to scalable, self‑service solutions.
- Support special projects and new initiatives to improve sales effectiveness, revenue integrity, and operational scalability.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4–6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or business process optimization supporting complex sales models
- Strong Salesforce.com experience across reporting, CRM data management, account structures, and operational workflows
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment with changing requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and comfort working across multiple systems and stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to independently drive issue resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic problem‑solving ability, with curiosity and initiative to define solutions and engage the right partners
- Strong analytical skills with intermediate Excel proficiency (formulas, lookups, pivots) and experience building KPI dashboards
- Financial discipline and business acumen related to pricing, margin, P&Ls, and ASP protection
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
- Proven experience defining and implementing operational workflows; Lean Six Sigma experience a plus

Search Sales Operations Jobs in North CarolinaSales Operations Jobs in North Carolina: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for sales operations roles in North Carolina?
Enterprise technology and financial services companies are the most active sponsors for sales operations roles in North Carolina. Red Hat and Cisco in the Research Triangle, Fidelity Investments and Bank of America in Charlotte, and SAS Institute in Cary have all filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications for revenue operations and sales strategy positions. Larger employers with established immigration infrastructure are generally more willing to sponsor than regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations roles in North Carolina?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales operations professionals in North Carolina, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or data analytics. Candidates with Indian or Australian citizenship may also explore H-1B1 or E-3 pathways respectively. L-1B transfers are another route for candidates already employed by a multinational with a North Carolina office.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most sales operations sponsorship jobs?
The Research Triangle area, covering Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, concentrates the most sales operations sponsorship activity, driven by its dense cluster of technology and life sciences companies. Charlotte is the second most active market, particularly within financial services and fintech. Greensboro and Winston-Salem in the Triad region also have sponsorship activity, primarily tied to manufacturing and logistics firms with enterprise sales functions.
How to find sales operations visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse sales operations roles in North Carolina without manually screening hundreds of postings. You can filter by location and role type to surface positions at companies actively open to sponsoring H-1B or other work visas. This is particularly useful in North Carolina, where sponsorship willingness varies significantly between the Research Triangle tech sector and other regional markets.
Are there any state-specific considerations for sales operations visa sponsorship in North Carolina?
North Carolina's Research Triangle pipeline, fed by NC State, Duke, and UNC Chapel Hill graduates, means employers are familiar with OPT and STEM OPT extensions for candidates transitioning from F-1 status. Sales operations roles that incorporate data analysis, CRM systems, or revenue forecasting tools are more likely to clear the specialty occupation threshold required for H-1B sponsorship than purely relationship-management or account coordination functions. Employers in the state's life sciences corridor also sponsor for operations roles supporting complex sales cycles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
