Which companies sponsor visas for sales operations roles in New Jersey?
New Jersey's mix of large enterprise employers and regional offices of global firms creates consistent sponsorship activity for sales operations talent. Companies in the pharmaceutical sector, including Johnson & Johnson and Merck, along with technology and professional services firms like Cognizant, Conduent, and Infosys, have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for operations and analytics roles. Large financial services employers in Newark and Jersey City also appear regularly in federal LCA disclosure data.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for sales operations professionals in New Jersey, particularly for roles requiring quantitative analysis, CRM systems management, or revenue forecasting. These functions typically qualify as specialty occupations when tied to a specific degree field such as business analytics, information systems, or marketing. Candidates from Australia may also explore the E-3 visa, and those from Canada or Mexico may qualify under the TN category if the role aligns with an eligible profession.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most sales operations sponsorship jobs?
Newark, Princeton, and Parsippany account for a significant share of sales operations sponsorship activity in the state. Newark benefits from proximity to New York City and hosts regional headquarters for financial and technology firms. Princeton's surrounding corridor attracts pharmaceutical and biotech companies with large commercial teams. Parsippany is a hub for consumer goods, healthcare, and professional services companies that maintain dedicated revenue operations functions.
How to find sales operations visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it practical to search for sales operations roles in New Jersey without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. You can browse by state and role type to identify employers actively hiring for operations functions. Migrate Mate also surfaces employer sponsorship patterns, which helps you prioritize outreach toward companies with a documented track record of filing for operations professionals in New Jersey.
Are there state-specific considerations for sales operations sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's high concentration of Fortune 500 regional offices means many sales operations roles are attached to employers already familiar with sponsorship processes, which can reduce internal friction during hiring. The state's proximity to New York City also means some roles are posted for either location, so it is worth confirming the primary work site on any application. New Jersey falls under the Department of Labor's New York-Newark prevailing wage jurisdiction for many job classifications, which affects the wage levels employers must certify on LCA filings.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
