We’re always looking for the best and brightest team players to join us.
About the Position
Are you an ambitious outbound seller with 1–2 years of experience and a passion for software sales? Ready to accelerate your career in full cycle SaaS account management and close deals—not just source them for other sales reps who share your commission? This 6 month Software Acceleration Program is designed to fast track high potential talent into our Software Account Management (SAM) organization. This is a temporary program role with full benefits and a clear outcome at the end of six months:
* Top performers will advance directly into a Software Account Representative (SAR) role
* Exceptional performers may be considered for Sr Software Account Representative (Sr SAR) placement
* Those who do not meet performance expectations may conclude participation at the end of the program
If you want a true pathway into Software Account Management, you will want to take a close look at this role.

* Drive outbound outreach and actively create qualified sales opportunities
* Deliver compelling, value-driven messaging to SMB and mid-market prospects
* Execute structured call, email, and LinkedIn engagement strategies
* Partner closely with SAM leaders and sales partners to refine conversion tactics
* Strengthen your SaaS sales acumen through ongoing coaching, training, and hands-on platform experience
* Demonstrate consistent performance within a structured evaluation framework
You’ll gain exposure to real selling, not just booking meetings—setting you up for success as you transition into the SAM family.

* Associate's degree or equivalent experience, required
* 1 to 2 years of outbound sales experience, required
* 2+ years of SaaS experience, preferred
* Confidence engaging with decision makers across phone, email, and social channels

* Desire to strengthen full-cycle SaaS sales skills in a closing role
* Comfort working within structured goals, metrics, and performance expectations
* A growth mindset and strong coachability
* Ability to travel less than 5% of the time
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required
* Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed
What’s in It for You
This role is intentionally designed as a launchpad into Software Account Management, offering:
* A 6-month accelerated program focused on outbound software selling
* Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives
* Hands-on exposure to our SAM teams and full sales cycle
* Real opportunity to move into SAR or Sr SAR based on performance following 6-months’ performance
* Skill-building that positions you for long-term career growth in software sales
This isn’t just another outbound role—it’s a career advancement program.
Program Outcomes
At the end of the 6-month program:
* High performers → Software Account Representative (SAR)
* Exceptional performers → Sr SAR
* Non-performers → Program completion without transition
This creates a fair, performance-based path and allows you to take ownership of your growth which doesn’t end with the Sr SAR role:
SAM Family
Software Account Representative “SAR”
Sr Software Account Representative “Sr SAR”
Software Account Executive “SAE”
Sr Software Account Executive “Sr SAE”
Key Software Account Executive “Key SAE”

Which companies sponsor visas for business development associates in Mississippi?
Visa sponsorship for business development associates in Mississippi comes primarily from larger employers with established HR infrastructure. Healthcare organizations like Singing River Health System, financial services firms headquartered in Ridgeland and Jackson, and regional logistics companies have histories of H-1B visa and other work visa filings. Smaller Mississippi-based employers sponsor less frequently, so targeting companies with documented prior sponsorship activity improves your chances.
Which visa types are most common for business development associate roles in Mississippi?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for business development associates in Mississippi, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, or economics. Some candidates already holding L-1 visa intracompany transferee status or O-1 visas may also fill these positions. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories.
Which cities in Mississippi have the most business development associate sponsorship jobs?
Jackson and its northern suburb Ridgeland account for the largest share of professional services hiring in Mississippi, making them the most active areas for business development associate roles with potential visa sponsorship. Hattiesburg has a growing healthcare and education-adjacent employer base, and Gulfport on the Gulf Coast draws business development hiring connected to gaming, hospitality, and port-related trade industries.
How to find business development associate visa sponsorship jobs in Mississippi?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters business development associate positions in Mississippi by visa sponsorship willingness, saving you from sorting through roles that won't support work authorization. You can search by location, visa type, and role to surface employers in Jackson, Ridgeland, and the Gulf Coast who have sponsored work visas before. Creating a profile on Migrate Mate also increases your visibility with sponsoring employers.
Are there university or industry pipelines that help international candidates get business development associate jobs in Mississippi?
The University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University both have business schools that place graduates into regional employer networks, which can be relevant for international students on OPT seeking business development roles before pursuing H-1B sponsorship. Healthcare and financial services remain the strongest industry pipelines in the state. Candidates with sector-specific experience in those fields tend to find the most sponsoring employers concentrated in the Jackson metro area.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development associate jobs in Mississippi?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
