Which companies sponsor visas for cloud solutions architects in Missouri?
St. Louis-based firms like Centene Corporation, Edward Jones, and World Wide Technology have sponsored work visas for technology roles including cloud solutions architects. In Kansas City, Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) and Cerner-adjacent healthcare IT companies are active sponsors. Large financial services and logistics companies operating regional headquarters in Missouri also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for cloud architecture positions.
Which visa types are most common for cloud solutions architect roles in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for cloud solutions architect roles in Missouri, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates already in the U.S. on L-1B intracompany transferee visas are another pathway, particularly for multinational firms with Missouri offices. Australians may also pursue the E-3 visa with a qualifying employer.
Which cities in Missouri have the most cloud solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the overwhelming majority of cloud solutions architect sponsorship opportunities in Missouri. St. Louis draws from its concentration of financial services, healthcare, and defense contractors, while Kansas City's healthcare IT sector, anchored by Oracle Health's legacy Cerner operations, generates steady demand. Columbia and Springfield have smaller but growing tech markets, though international sponsorship activity there is considerably more limited.
How to find cloud solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship roles, including cloud solutions architect positions in Missouri. You can filter by state and role to see which Missouri employers are actively hiring and have sponsorship track records. Cross-referencing Migrate Mate listings with Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for Missouri-based employers gives you a clearer picture of which companies have sponsored cloud architecture roles in recent years.
Are there any Missouri-specific considerations for cloud solutions architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Missouri does not impose state-level visa requirements, but employers must still meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage standards for the St. Louis or Kansas City metropolitan statistical areas, which differ from each other. Missouri's concentration of regulated industries like financial services and healthcare means many cloud architect roles require security clearances or compliance experience, which can affect hiring timelines. University pipelines from Washington University in St. Louis and University of Missouri also supply local talent, so international candidates benefit from clearly demonstrating specialized cloud platform expertise.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud solutions architect jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
