Which companies sponsor visas for customer program managers in Missouri?
World Wide Technology in St. Louis is one of Missouri's most active H-1B visa sponsors and regularly hires customer program managers. Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) in Kansas City also has a strong sponsorship history for program management roles. Larger financial services firms and IT consulting companies operating out of both cities have filed LCAs for customer program manager positions in recent years.
Which visa types are most common for customer program managers in Missouri?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer program manager roles in Missouri, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, computer science, or information systems. Applicants already holding L-1B or TN visa status sometimes transition into these roles as well. The role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards for H-1B eligibility.
Which cities in Missouri have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
St. Louis and Kansas City account for the overwhelming majority of customer program manager sponsorship activity in Missouri. St. Louis draws demand from technology services companies and healthcare organizations, while Kansas City's concentration of health IT, insurance, and financial services employers generates consistent openings. Smaller markets like Columbia have limited sponsorship activity for this specific role.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Missouri?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse customer program manager roles in Missouri without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. You can narrow results by state and role type to focus on St. Louis and Kansas City opportunities. Migrate Mate's job board is built for international candidates, so all listed roles are from employers open to sponsoring work visas.
Are there any Missouri-specific considerations for customer program managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Missouri employers filing H-1B petitions for customer program managers must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the role in the relevant metropolitan area, which differs between St. Louis and Kansas City. Missouri's technology sector is anchored by large enterprise clients rather than venture-backed startups, so sponsoring employers tend to be established companies with structured immigration processes rather than early-stage firms with limited HR capacity.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Missouri?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
