Search Customer Program Manager Jobs in UtahCustomer Program Manager Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Utah sponsor visas for customer program managers?
Utah's Silicon Slopes tech corridor includes several employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for customer-facing program roles. Companies like Adobe, Qualtrics, Pluralsight, and Workfront (now part of Adobe) have filed H-1B petitions for program management positions. Larger enterprise software firms headquartered or with major offices in Lehi, Draper, and Salt Lake City tend to have established HR processes for sponsoring international employees.
Which visa types are most common for customer program manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer program manager roles in Utah, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT may also be sponsored for H-1B through the annual cap process. L-1A intracompany transferee visas apply for managers transferring from a foreign affiliate of a Utah employer.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find customer program manager roles in Utah where employers are actively open to visa sponsorship. The platform filters job listings specifically for sponsorship-willing employers, saving you from sifting through postings that don't apply to international candidates. Focusing your search on the Salt Lake City and Lehi areas on Migrate Mate will surface the highest concentration of relevant openings in Utah's tech sector.
Which cities in Utah have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and Lehi account for the large majority of customer program manager sponsorship opportunities in Utah. Lehi's Silicon Slopes corridor has become a hub for SaaS and enterprise software companies that regularly hire for customer success and program management roles. Sandy, Draper, and South Jordan also have notable concentrations of tech employers with sponsorship capacity, largely due to corporate campuses and regional headquarters situated along the Wasatch Front.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for customer program managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Utah's tech sector grows partly through pipelines from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, which means employers are accustomed to recruiting internationally educated talent. The state's relatively lower cost of operations compared to coastal tech hubs can make employers more willing to absorb H-1B filing costs. Customer program manager roles in Utah often sit within enterprise SaaS companies, where the specialty occupation classification for H-1B purposes is generally well-established based on degree requirements for the position.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
