Which companies in Pennsylvania sponsor visas for customer program managers?
Philadelphia-headquartered companies like Comcast and SAP America have sponsored H-1B workers in customer-facing program management roles. In Pittsburgh, UPMC, PNC Financial, and various technology consultancies have also filed H-1B petitions for similar positions. Pennsylvania's healthcare and enterprise software sectors tend to have the most consistent sponsorship activity for customer program manager titles specifically.
Which visa types are most common for customer program manager roles in Pennsylvania?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer program manager roles in Pennsylvania, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with intracompany transfer backgrounds may also qualify for L-1B visas. Australians in this field sometimes pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar specialty occupation requirement but uses a separate cap and process.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia accounts for the majority of customer program manager sponsorship activity in Pennsylvania, given its concentration of enterprise technology firms, financial institutions, and healthcare organizations. Pittsburgh is a secondary hub, driven by growth in healthcare IT and financial services. Smaller markets like Malvern and Wayne, located in the Philadelphia suburbs, also see activity from technology and consulting companies based along the Route 202 corridor.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Pennsylvania employers actively hiring customer program managers who need sponsorship. Rather than sorting through general job boards, Migrate Mate surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed, which is particularly useful for this title since not every company that hires program managers is willing or equipped to sponsor. Searching by state and role together narrows results to the most relevant opportunities.
Are there any Pennsylvania-specific considerations for customer program manager visa sponsorship?
Pennsylvania's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B customer program manager positions are set at the county level using Department of Labor data, meaning wage floors differ between Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and surrounding suburban counties. Employers in the Philadelphia metro tend to post higher prevailing wage levels than those in smaller Pennsylvania markets. The state's large university network, including Penn, Drexel, and Carnegie Mellon, produces a pipeline of international graduates who commonly pursue sponsorship for customer-facing program roles after completing OPT.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
