Search Customer Program Manager Jobs in OklahomaCustomer Program Manager Jobs in Oklahoma: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for customer program managers in Oklahoma?
Energy and aerospace companies lead sponsorship activity for customer program managers in Oklahoma. Williams Companies, ONEOK, and Devon Energy hire program management professionals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The Tulsa aerospace cluster, including MRO operations tied to American Airlines and associated contractors, also generates sponsorship activity. Telecommunications firms and larger healthcare systems in the state have sponsored H-1B petitions for program management roles as well.
Which visa types are most common for customer program manager roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for customer program managers in Oklahoma, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, engineering, or information systems. L-1B and L-1A transfers are also used when candidates move from a foreign affiliate to an Oklahoma-based employer entity. TN visas cover Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering classifications.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Tulsa and Oklahoma City account for the large majority of customer program manager visa sponsorship activity in Oklahoma. Tulsa's energy corridor and its aerospace maintenance hub generate consistent demand, while Oklahoma City hosts corporate headquarters for energy companies, financial services firms, and state government contractors. Norman sees some activity tied to University of Oklahoma affiliated employers and technology-adjacent companies operating near the university.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify customer program manager openings in Oklahoma where employers are actively sponsoring. You can narrow results by state and role to surface positions at energy companies, aerospace contractors, and technology firms based in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Migrate Mate also provides context on sponsorship patterns by employer, which helps you prioritize applications efficiently.
What state-specific factors affect customer program manager sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily weighted toward energy, aviation maintenance, and agriculture-adjacent industries, which shapes the types of customer program manager roles that appear. Employers in these sectors tend to sponsor for roles with technical program oversight responsibilities rather than generalist account management. The state's lower cost of living can affect prevailing wage benchmarks that employers must meet under Department of Labor requirements when filing H-1B Labor Condition Applications.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
