Which companies sponsor visas for account managers in Nebraska?
Omaha-based employers are the most active sponsors for account manager roles in Nebraska. Companies like Sandhills Global, Fiserv, TD Ameritrade (now part of Charles Schwab), and Gallup have histories of sponsoring skilled workers in client-facing and sales roles. Agriculture technology and financial services firms tend to file the most Labor Condition Applications for account manager positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for account manager roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account managers in Nebraska, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as business, marketing, or communications. Some employers also use the L-1B for intracompany transfers into account management positions. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles. Each category has distinct employer filing requirements.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most account manager sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the large majority of account manager visa sponsorship activity in Nebraska, driven by its financial services, technology, and logistics sectors. Lincoln is a secondary market, with sponsorship concentrated around university-affiliated organizations and state government contractors. Smaller markets like Grand Island and Kearney have limited sponsorship activity for account manager roles compared to the two major metro areas.
How to find account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship jobs, including account manager roles in Nebraska. You can filter by state and job title to surface employers actively hiring and sponsoring. Because sponsorship is not always advertised explicitly in job listings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that aggregates sponsorship-friendly postings saves significant research time for candidates in Nebraska's job market.
Are there any Nebraska-specific considerations for account managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Nebraska's prevailing wage requirements apply to all H-1B account manager positions and are determined by the Department of Labor based on Omaha or Lincoln metro area data, depending on the work location. Employers must certify they are meeting local wage standards before sponsoring. Nebraska's relatively concentrated job market also means most sponsorship opportunities are clustered in Omaha, so candidates should prioritize that metro area when targeting employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account manager jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
