ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Commercial Lines Service Specialist, you will provide professional, courteous service to our clients and internal team. Provides support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing commercial accounts.
- Respond promptly and professionally to the service needs of our clients
- Work closely with the team in providing exceptional service
- Assist team in following HUB process/procedures related to binders, certificates, endorsements, policy check and other related items while verifying accuracy
- Knowledge of carrier online systems for obtaining quotes, loss runs, billing information, policy documents, etc.
- Assist with premium bearing transactions, audits and premium reconciliation
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client information in agency management system
- Adhere to all HUB Broker Standards, processes, procedures and state regulations
- Work closely with management on special projects and act as a back-up to team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- Previous experience working with property and casualty account administration preferred
- Experience with Epic or other insurance related software preferred
- Ability to acquire and maintain approved accredited program designation preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications
- State property and casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain, required
- Knowledge of insurance agency operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Must be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential information
- Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs
