Which companies sponsor visas for account specialists in New Jersey?
Large employers with a consistent history of sponsoring work visas for account specialist roles in New Jersey include Johnson & Johnson, Cognizant, Conduent, and Prudential Financial. Financial services firms headquartered in Jersey City and Newark also appear frequently in Department of Labor disclosure data for H-1B visa sponsorship. Multinational technology and consulting firms tend to have the most active sponsorship programs for client-facing account roles.
Which visa types are most common for account specialist roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for account specialist positions in New Jersey, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, finance, or a related discipline. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA, depending on the role's specific duties and educational requirements.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most account specialist sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City and Newark generate the highest concentration of account specialist sponsorship opportunities in New Jersey, largely due to their financial services and corporate headquarters presence. Parsippany and Bridgewater are notable hubs for pharmaceutical and technology account roles. Princeton also sees demand from biotech and consulting firms. These cities collectively account for a significant share of employer-sponsored account specialist positions filed with the Department of Labor.
How to find account specialist visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for account specialist roles in New Jersey without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can narrow results by location and role type to focus on New Jersey employers who have an active track record of filing H-1B or other work visa petitions for account specialists. Creating a profile on Migrate Mate also helps match you with relevant openings as they're posted.
What should international candidates know about account specialist sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey employers filing H-1B petitions for account specialists must pay the prevailing wage for the role and location as determined by the Department of Labor, which is publicly documented in Labor Condition Application disclosures. Candidates should confirm that the specific job duties support a specialty occupation designation, since account specialist titles can vary widely in their educational requirements. Roles emphasizing client management within regulated industries like finance or pharmaceuticals tend to have a stronger sponsorship track record in this state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account specialist jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
