Which companies sponsor visas for account specialists in Indiana?
Large employers with established immigration programs are the most consistent sponsors. In Indiana, companies like Eli Lilly, Salesforce, Cummins, and Anthem have sponsored work visas for account and client-facing roles. Staffing and technology firms operating in the Indianapolis metro area also appear in federal Labor Condition Application filings for account specialist positions. Smaller regional employers sponsor less frequently.
Which visa types are most common for account specialist roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most commonly used visa for account specialist roles in Indiana, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles. The O-1 is rarely applicable to account specialist positions.
Which cities in Indiana have the most account specialist sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of account specialist sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and technology companies. Carmel and Fishers, both Indianapolis suburbs with growing business parks, also see consistent hiring. Fort Wayne has a smaller but active employer base, particularly in manufacturing and distribution sectors that employ account specialists.
How to find account specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse account specialist roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can filter by state and role type to surface employers actively hiring for this position. Focusing on companies with prior H-1B filings in Indiana improves your odds of reaching receptive hiring teams.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for account specialists seeking visa sponsorship?
Indiana's life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors create steady demand for account specialists with technical or industry-specific backgrounds, which can strengthen a specialty occupation argument for H-1B purposes. The state's proximity to Midwest university pipelines, including Indiana University and Purdue, means employers are accustomed to hiring internationally. Prevailing wage requirements still apply, and employers must file a Labor Condition Application before sponsoring any H-1B worker.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account specialist jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
