Which companies sponsor visas for account specialists in Florida?
Florida employers that have sponsored account specialist roles include Cigna Healthcare, Chewy, Syniverse Technologies, and various financial institutions headquartered in Miami's Brickell district. Technology services firms and insurance companies in the Tampa Bay area are also consistent sponsors. Sponsorship history varies by year and hiring need, so checking recent Labor Condition Application filings is the most reliable way to verify current patterns.
Which visa types are most common for account specialist roles in Florida?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account specialist positions in Florida, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, finance, or a related discipline. The L-1B is an option for intracompany transfers with specialized knowledge. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may explore TN visa status under the USMCA if the role meets the relevant occupational criteria.
Which cities in Florida have the most account specialist sponsorship jobs?
Miami generates the highest concentration of account specialist sponsorship activity in Florida, driven by its financial services sector and multinational corporate presence. Tampa and Orlando follow closely, supported by technology services, healthcare administration, and SaaS companies. Jacksonville has a growing financial services hub with companies like Fidelity National Information Services that have sponsored similar roles. South Florida broadly tends to attract international candidates given its multilingual, globally connected business environment.
How to find account specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters account specialist positions specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, so you can browse Florida-based openings without sifting through roles that won't support international candidates. The platform surfaces employers with a documented history of sponsoring this role type in Florida, which saves significant time in the job search. Filtering by city lets you focus on Miami, Tampa, or Orlando depending on where you plan to relocate.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for account specialist visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects how employers benchmark compensation relative to prevailing wage requirements set by the Department of Labor. Account specialist roles in Miami often require bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, which can make internationally trained candidates particularly competitive. Florida's large public university system, including the University of Florida and University of Miami, also produces a pipeline of international graduates already in the state on OPT who target these roles locally.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account specialist jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
