Which companies sponsor visas for account specialists in Colorado?
Technology and telecommunications companies are the most consistent sponsors in Colorado. Oracle, Salesforce, Lumen Technologies, and Arrow Electronics have all hired account specialists in the state with H-1B visa sponsorship. Managed service providers and enterprise software firms concentrated in the Denver Tech Center and Boulder corridors tend to show the highest sponsorship activity in client-facing account roles.
Which visa types are most common for account specialist roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for account specialists in Colorado when the role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or information systems. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible under the TN visa category. Whether a specific account specialist role qualifies as a specialty occupation depends on the employer's job description and degree requirements.
Which cities in Colorado have the most account specialist sponsorship jobs?
Denver and its surrounding metro area, particularly the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village, account for the largest share of account specialist sponsorship activity in the state. Boulder follows, driven by its concentration of software and SaaS companies. Colorado Springs has a smaller but active market, particularly for account roles tied to defense technology and IT services contractors operating near military installations.
How to find account specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters account specialist jobs in Colorado specifically to roles where employers have demonstrated visa sponsorship history, saving you from applications at companies unlikely to sponsor. You can search by city, visa type, and industry to focus on Denver, Boulder, or the Denver Tech Center. Migrate Mate draws on H-1B disclosure data, so you can see which Colorado employers have sponsored similar roles before.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for account specialist visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to post salary ranges in job listings, which makes it easier to verify whether an offered wage meets the prevailing wage requirement tied to your Labor Condition Application. Account specialist roles in Colorado's enterprise tech and telecom sectors often require client-facing communication skills and sometimes a technical background, which can strengthen the specialty occupation argument for H-1B eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account specialist jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
