Which companies in Nebraska sponsor visas for assistant account managers?
Omaha-based employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories for account management roles include Mutual of Omaha, TD Ameritrade (now part of Charles Schwab), and Union Pacific. Sandhills Global in Lincoln also sponsors internationally for account-facing roles. AgriFinance and regional insurance carriers occasionally sponsor depending on the role's technical complexity and degree requirements.
Which visa types are most common for assistant account manager roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B is the most common visa for assistant account managers in Nebraska, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or finance. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals can explore TN visa status under the business analyst or management consultant categories where applicable.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most assistant account manager sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the majority of assistant account manager sponsorship opportunities in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of insurance, financial services, and logistics firms. Lincoln is the second largest market, with opportunities in agricultural business, state government contractors, and technology companies. Smaller markets like Grand Island and Kearney occasionally post roles but sponsorship is far less common outside the two main metros.
How to find assistant account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for assistant account manager roles in Nebraska without sorting through positions that do not sponsor. You can filter by state, role type, and visa category, which is particularly useful in a mid-sized market like Nebraska where sponsorship-ready postings are concentrated among a smaller set of established employers.
Are there state-specific considerations for assistant account manager sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's smaller labor market means fewer overall sponsorship opportunities compared to coastal states, but competition for individual openings can also be lower. The University of Nebraska's international alumni network in Lincoln and Omaha feeds some local hiring pipelines. Because many assistant account manager roles sit at the edge of specialty occupation requirements, employers and immigration counsel will scrutinize degree-to-job alignment carefully before filing an H-1B petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored assistant account manager jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
