Which companies sponsor visas for business account executives in Nebraska?
Omaha-based employers are the primary source of visa sponsorship for business account executive roles in Nebraska. Mutual of Omaha, TD Ameritrade (now under Charles Schwab), Union Pacific, and First Data have filed Labor Condition Applications for sales and account management positions. Enterprise software and managed services firms operating out of the Aksarben Village tech hub have also sponsored international candidates in client-facing roles.
Which visa types are most common for business account executive roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for business account executives in Nebraska, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or finance. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, while Canadian and Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the USMCA. L-1 visa transfers are also used when candidates move within a multinational employer to a Nebraska office.
How to find business account executive visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to find business account executive positions in Nebraska without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. You can filter by state and role type to see which Omaha and Lincoln employers are actively hiring international candidates for account executive and client management roles, saving significant research time.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most business account executive sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the large majority of business account executive sponsorship activity in Nebraska. The city's concentration of Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, financial services firms, and a growing technology sector in the Aksarben corridor creates consistent demand for account executive talent. Lincoln has a smaller but active market, particularly in healthcare technology and state government contracting, where client-facing roles occasionally include sponsorship.
Are there any state-specific considerations for business account executives pursuing visa sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's sponsoring employers are concentrated in insurance, financial services, logistics, and enterprise technology, so candidates with industry-specific account management backgrounds tend to be more competitive. The University of Nebraska system produces a steady pipeline of business graduates, meaning international candidates often benefit from highlighting specialized experience or technical sales skills that differentiate them. Prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules apply regardless of state, so employers must meet federally determined wage levels for the Omaha and Lincoln metro areas.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business account executive jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
