Which companies sponsor visas for customer program managers in Nebraska?
Omaha-based employers are the primary source of sponsorship for customer program managers in Nebraska. Companies like Union Pacific, Mutual of Omaha, Fiserv, and TD Ameritrade (now part of Schwab) have filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for program and customer management roles. Larger enterprise technology and financial services firms in the state are generally more likely to have established immigration support processes than smaller businesses.
Which visa types are most common for customer program manager roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B is the most common visa for customer program managers in Nebraska, provided the role requires a specific bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, information systems, or engineering. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals can explore the TN visa under the USMCA. Those with multinational company backgrounds may also be eligible for an L-1 visa transfer.
How to find customer program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, making it more efficient than general job searches for international candidates. For customer program manager roles in Nebraska, you can search by role title and state to surface employers in Omaha and Lincoln who have active sponsorship openings. Migrate Mate also provides context on which employers have a documented history of H-1B filings, which helps you prioritize applications.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most customer program manager sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the significant majority of customer program manager sponsorship opportunities in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of financial services, logistics, and enterprise technology companies. Lincoln has a smaller but growing presence, particularly around university-adjacent tech firms and state government contractors. Outside these two cities, sponsorship opportunities for this specific role type are limited.
Are there any Nebraska-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for customer program managers?
Nebraska's sponsorship activity for customer program managers is heavily tied to Omaha's financial services and logistics sectors, which means hiring tends to follow enterprise budget cycles rather than the seasonal patterns seen in tech-heavy states. The University of Nebraska system also produces international graduates on OPT who pursue these roles locally. Employers in Nebraska who sponsor tend to be mid-to-large organizations with in-house HR or legal teams equipped to manage the H-1B petition process.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored customer program manager jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
