Which companies sponsor visas for service coordinators in Nebraska?
Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, and Boys Town are among the larger Nebraska employers with documented histories of sponsoring work visas for service-oriented roles. State agencies and nonprofit disability services organizations in Omaha and Lincoln also sponsor international workers, particularly for care coordination and case management positions requiring specialized training or bilingual skills.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinator roles in Nebraska?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for service coordinators whose roles qualify as specialty occupations, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field. Some coordinators in healthcare settings also come through the TN visa if they hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship. EB-3 immigrant visas appear in cases where employers pursue permanent sponsorship for hard-to-fill coordination roles.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Omaha accounts for the majority of service coordinator sponsorship activity in Nebraska, driven by its concentration of hospital systems, nonprofit organizations, and corporate headquarters. Lincoln follows, with state government agencies, University of Nebraska Health Center, and community mental health organizations generating openings. Smaller markets like Grand Island occasionally have positions tied to regional healthcare networks.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search service coordinator roles in Nebraska without sifting through postings that don't offer work authorization support. The platform surfaces employers actively filing for sponsored workers in this role category, which is particularly useful in Nebraska where sponsorship is concentrated among a smaller set of healthcare and nonprofit employers rather than spread broadly across industries.
Are there any state-specific considerations for service coordinator visa sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska's relatively low cost of living affects prevailing wage determinations under Department of Labor guidelines, which employers must meet when sponsoring H-1B workers. Service coordinators in developmental disabilities and behavioral health are in particular demand due to Nebraska's rural service gaps, creating stronger employer motivation to sponsor in those subspecialties. University of Nebraska and Creighton University also generate a pipeline of internationally trained social work graduates who often pursue local sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Nebraska?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
