Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in Nebraska?
Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health, Bryan Health, and Methodist Health System are among the larger healthcare employers in Nebraska with established hiring infrastructure that supports TN visa sponsorship. Regional health systems and specialty clinics in Omaha and Lincoln also hire TN workers, though sponsorship availability varies by role, department, and hiring cycle. Checking employer career pages directly is the most reliable way to confirm current sponsorship activity.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Omaha and Lincoln account for the majority of healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Nebraska. Omaha is the larger market, home to Nebraska Medicine, CHI Health's flagship facilities, and Methodist Health System. Lincoln is anchored by Bryan Health and several specialty practices. Smaller cities like Kearney and Grand Island have regional hospital systems, though TN sponsorship opportunities there are less frequent.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in healthcare is limited to specific occupations listed under the USMCA. Qualifying roles include physicians, nurses (registered nurses with a baccalaureate degree), physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists, pharmacists, and certain scientific and technical positions. Not all healthcare job titles qualify. The role must match an approved USMCA occupation, and applicants must hold the required credentials for that specific designation.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN visa holders and applicants, making it one of the most targeted ways to find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in Nebraska. You can filter by state and visa type to surface roles at Nebraska employers who are open to TN sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing job postings that rarely specify visa support upfront.
Are there any state-specific considerations for healthcare TN sponsorship in Nebraska?
Nebraska requires healthcare professionals to hold state licensure from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services before practicing, regardless of visa status. Canadian and Mexican applicants should initiate the Nebraska licensure process early, as credential verification and examination requirements can add weeks to the timeline. Some roles, particularly nursing, may also require passing the NCLEX before an employer can complete TN sponsorship paperwork.
