STRATEGY
Republic Services’ strategy is designed to generate profitable growth. Through acquisitions and industry advancements, we safely and sustainably manage our customers’ multiple waste streams through a North American footprint of vertically integrated assets.
We focus on three areas of growth to meet the increasing needs of our customers: recycling and waste, environmental solutions and sustainability innovation.
With our integrated approach, strengthening our position in one area advances other areas of our business. For example, as we grow volume in recycling and waste, we collect additional material to bolster our circularity capabilities. And as we expand environmental solutions, we drive additional opportunities to provide these services to our existing recycling and waste customers.
Recycling and Waste
We continue to expand our recycling and waste business footprint throughout North America through organic growth and targeted acquisitions. The 13 million customers we serve and our more than 5 million pick-ups per day provide us with a distinct advantage. We aggregate materials at scale, unlocking new opportunities for advanced recycling. In addition, we are cross-selling new products and services to better meet our customers’ specific needs.
Environmental Solutions
Our comprehensive environmental solutions capabilities help customers safely manage their most technical waste streams. We are expanding both our capabilities and our geographic footprint. We see strong growth opportunities for our offerings, including PFAS remediation, an increasing customer need.
SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION
Republic’s recent innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization demonstrate our unique ability to leverage sustainability as a platform for growth.
The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation’s first integrated plastics recycling facility. This innovative site processes rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.
We continue to advance decarbonization at our landfills. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we have 70 landfill gas-to-energy projects in operation and plan to expand our portfolio to 115 projects by 2028.

Which waste management and environmental services companies sponsor Green Cards in New Hampshire?
Casella Waste Systems operates extensively across New Hampshire and has sponsored workers through PERM labor certification for operations and environmental roles. Clean Harbors, which handles hazardous waste and environmental remediation, is another consistent sponsor in the state. Smaller regional solid waste districts and environmental consulting firms also pursue Green Card sponsorship for specialized positions where qualified U.S. workers are difficult to find.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most waste management and environmental services Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua, as New Hampshire's two largest cities, see the most activity given their population density and the concentration of commercial and industrial waste contracts. Concord, the state capital, attracts environmental compliance and regulatory roles. Portsmouth and the Seacoast region have demand tied to industrial facilities and environmental remediation projects along the New Hampshire coastline and the Piscataqua River watershed.
What types of waste management and environmental services roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles requiring specialized credentials are the most common Green Card sponsorship candidates. These include environmental engineers, hazardous materials technicians, environmental scientists, and operations managers overseeing permitted waste facilities. Positions tied to RCRA compliance, remediation project management, and wastewater treatment operations often qualify because employers can demonstrate a shortage of locally available workers with the required combination of licensing and technical experience.
How do I find waste management and environmental services Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for waste management and environmental services roles with Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire, surfacing employers with verified PERM and sponsorship history. This is more targeted than a general job search because results are screened for actual sponsorship activity. You can also cross-reference employer filings through OFLC Wage Search to confirm prevailing wage data for specific roles and counties in New Hampshire.
Are there any state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire's environmental sector?
New Hampshire's Department of Environmental Services enforces strict licensing requirements for certain waste facility operators and environmental technicians, which can actually support a PERM application by helping employers document that specific credentials are scarce locally. The state's relatively small labor market means recruitment documentation requirements under PERM can be met more readily in niche specializations. Proximity to Massachusetts also means some employers operate regionally and may file sponsorship through a headquarters outside New Hampshire.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card waste management & environmental services jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
