Salary Range: $83,500 - $92,000 per year
We are looking for a Senior Associate, Network Operations (WMS Implementation) to join the WMS Implementation team and help scale our world-class Manhattan WMS solution across Wayfair’s Fulfillment network. This role is highly executional and “on the floor” focused—you will translate network and product designs into configuration, testing, and day-to-day operational workflows that enable a smooth transition from legacy tools to Manhattan WMS.
Successful candidates are analytical and action-oriented, comfortable splitting time between data work and time on site, and eager to work cross-functionally with Operations and Technology to land new capabilities that improve inventory accuracy, service, and productivity.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver WMS implementations at Fulfillment Centers
- Support end-to-end implementation of Manhattan WMS at existing and new Fulfillment Centers, including design support, configuration, testing, training, rollout, and post-go-live stabilization.
-
Execute configuration and validation for core warehouse flows (receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, returns) under the guidance of the Manager, Network Operations and Product/Tech partners.
-
Translate business requirements into WMS configuration
- Translate operational requirements into detailed configuration inputs (e.g., location logic, putaway/picking strategies, wave rules, work queue design).
-
Run and document test scripts, log defects, and partner with Technology and site Operations to iterate until workflows are production-ready.
-
Enable site readiness and on-the-floor execution
- Map current-state processes with site leaders and process engineers; help define future-state workflows enabled by Manhattan WMS.
- Provide on-the-floor support during cutovers, ramp, and stabilization, troubleshooting issues in real time (e.g., inventory discrepancies, RF flows, tasking logic, exception handling).
-
Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, and quick reference guides that make new workflows intuitive for supervisors and frontline associates.
-
Manage implementation tools and communication
- Maintain implementation trackers, runbooks, and post-go-live issue logs; ensure owners and due dates are clear and progress is visible.
-
Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to Network Operations, Site Operations, and Technology partners in a clear, structured way.
-
Measure performance and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor key performance indicators during and after rollout (e.g., inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock, UPH, order cycle time) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Analyze WMS and adjacent system data to identify root causes of issues and recommend pragmatic, scalable fixes.
- Capture lessons learned from each site and contribute to reusable playbooks and tools for future implementations.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, or operations; experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- Exposure to WMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, or similar); hands-on Manhattan WMS experience is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Analytics, Network Operations, Fulfillment Operations, and Technology to define and roll out new capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to diagnose problems, measure impact, and communicate insights.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex operational and technical topics into clear, concise updates for diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% to Fulfillment Centers for design validation, testing, rollout, and stabilization support, with periods of time closer to 100% to support launch and hypercare post launch.

Which e-commerce companies in New Jersey sponsor work visas?
Major e-commerce employers in New Jersey include Amazon (fulfillment centers in Edison and Carteret), Walmart eCommerce operations, and Bed Bath & Beyond's digital division in Union. Many smaller DTC brands and logistics companies along the I-95 corridor also sponsor H-1B visas for tech roles like software engineers, data analysts, and operations specialists.
How to find e-commerce visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for e-commerce visa sponsorship opportunities in New Jersey. The platform filters jobs by industry and visa sponsorship status, helping you identify companies actively hiring international talent for roles in online retail, marketplace management, and e-commerce technology across the state.
What visa types do e-commerce companies in New Jersey typically sponsor?
New Jersey e-commerce companies primarily sponsor H-1B visas for software engineers, data scientists, and product managers. L-1 visas are common for international transfers to companies with global operations. O-1 visas occasionally appear for specialized roles in AI, machine learning, or e-commerce platform development at larger tech-focused retailers.
Which New Jersey cities have the most e-commerce visa sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City leads in fintech-adjacent e-commerce roles due to its proximity to NYC. Newark and Edison host major fulfillment operations requiring tech talent. Princeton attracts e-commerce startups and research roles. Hoboken and areas near major highways see logistics and operations positions at companies serving the Northeast market.
Do e-commerce prevailing wages in New Jersey differ from other tech sectors?
New Jersey e-commerce prevailing wages often align with broader software development rates but can vary by company size and proximity to New York City. Large retailers may offer slightly lower base wages than pure tech companies, but often compensate with equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits packages for visa-sponsored employees.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored e-commerce jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
