The Opportunity: The Account Executive, Prestige, is a key partner within the Northeast territory, overseeing New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware while consistently driving and exceeding seasonal sales goals across major retail partners. This role goes beyond delivering results, it’s about cultivating strong, lasting relationships and identifying strategic opportunities to grow the business in meaningful ways. Working closely with store teams, retail partners, and cross-functional internal stakeholders, the Account Executive brings strong product knowledge, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to every interaction. With energy, passion, and a genuine enthusiasm for the brands, this individual ensures that Puig Prestige brands, Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, and Jean Paul Gaultier, are represented with excellence and impact, inspiring retail teams and elevating the customer experience at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Sales & Strategy
- Lead your territory by developing and executing thoughtful sales strategies that not only meet but exceed financial targets across key accounts
- Regularly analyze sales trends and customer behavior to uncover actionable insights and drive sustained business growth
- Oversee performance across doors by ensuring each location has the right mix of staffing, merchandising, and activations to reach full potential
- Manage budgets and allocate spend strategically for each account, ensuring alignment with Puig’s financial and operational guidelines
- Build momentum at retail through in-store events and tailored promotions that excite both teams and customers
Education & Team Development
- Design and implement local training initiatives in partnership with the Education team that support both sales goals and brand standards
- Provide hands-on coaching to Beauty Advisors and Makeup Artists, helping them build product knowledge, selling confidence, and customer connection
- Motivate teams by fostering accountability, recognizing strong performance, and leading through brand storytelling and example
Relationship Building & Retail Partnerships
- Serve as a key point of contact and trusted partner for store managers, corporate retail stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams
- Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising and Store Design to ensure brand presentation is impactful, consistent, and aligned with current campaigns
- Proactively identify and address business needs, from promotional planning to team resourcing, to keep performance on track
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and development of in-store talent to strengthen retail teams, improve rankings, and grow Puig’s brand presence
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- 5+ years of sales experience in beauty, fashion, or luxury retail supporting department store or beauty specialty accounts
- Experience supporting in-store teams through product education, selling support, and strong brand storytelling
- Comfort reviewing sales reports and identifying opportunities to support business growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
- A passion for prestige beauty and delivering elevated client experiences
- Flexibility to work weekends and key holidays as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Availability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule with flexibility on weekends and holidays, as required in a retail-driven environment
- Comfort working in a primarily field and in-store based role, spending the majority of time supporting retail partners and teams on the ground
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel up to 60-70%, including overnight travel
Compensation: As required by New Jersey State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
