Your new company
This firm has been in business for the past 30 years, and is a solid mid-sized General Contractor based in Northern NJ. They have 7+ projects coming up, and have been adding to the team consistently, but now it's time to bring a Project Executive-level individual to oversee the operation. If you are interested, light travel could also be an option. Depends on what you are looking for in your next role. Apply now to learn more!

Which companies sponsor visas for project executives in New Jersey?
Large employers with a history of sponsoring project executive roles in New Jersey include Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Cognizant, Deloitte, and PSEG. Construction and infrastructure firms operating in the state, such as Turner Construction and Jacobs Engineering, also sponsor for senior project leadership positions. Sponsorship tends to be more consistent at enterprise-level organizations with dedicated immigration compliance teams.
Which visa types are most common for project executive roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for project executives in New Jersey, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may qualify for the L-1A intracompany transferee visa, particularly for executive or managerial functions. Some senior roles in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals may also attract O-1 visa consideration for candidates with distinguished records.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most project executive sponsorship jobs?
Newark and Jersey City have the highest concentration of project executive openings due to their proximity to New York City and strong financial, technology, and professional services presence. Princeton and New Brunswick are significant hubs for pharmaceutical and life sciences project leadership, driven by major campuses in those areas. Parsippany and Bridgewater also see consistent demand from corporate headquarters located in the state's central corridor.
How to find project executive visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify project executive roles in New Jersey where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than manually screening hundreds of postings, you can search directly for sponsored positions in this state and role category. Migrate Mate's listings are updated regularly and focused on international candidates who need employer-supported work authorization.
Are there state-specific considerations for project executives seeking sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's high concentration of pharmaceutical, biotech, and infrastructure employers means project executives often need domain-specific credentials alongside general project management qualifications. The state's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program reflect competitive regional compensation benchmarks, so employers must confirm the offered position meets Department of Labor wage levels before filing. Candidates with PMP certification or sector-specific credentials in life sciences or construction tend to align well with what New Jersey employers require.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project executive jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
