A little bit about our team:
The Marketing Enablement & Operations Coordinator is an operations-based individual contributor responsible for the day-to-day "engine room" tasks that keep our global marketing ecosystem running smoothly. This role is designed for a process-driven professional who excels at organizational rigor, documentation, and cross-functional communication. They will serve as the primary source of truth for marketing tool access, vendor onboarding, and operational compliance.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Enablement, they will focus on high-volume task management and workflow execution. They will be the "home base" for the team - the individual who ensures that requests are answered, payments are tracked, and global teams are following standardized protocols. Beyond the standard checklist, you will act as a proactive optimizer, using AI tools and automated flows to streamline manual processes and improve team efficiency.
YOUR ROLE:
Serve as the main point of contact for all global onboarding requests for our marketing and media tools. You will also handle access requests for these tools, such as analysis and ad operations. Manage the central Marketing Enablement submission portal (Airtable) and maintain an up-to-date internal knowledge base for global users. Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues, advancing technical bugs to the relevant teams when necessary. Monitor global campaign compliance to ensure that digital ad accounts across Meta, TikTok, Spotify, and Google are applying standardized coding and integrations.
Here you’ll get to:
- Document gap analyses for tools and platforms to help inform future strategy.
- Maintain accurate project trackers for Statement of Work (SOW) and Master Service Agreement (MSA) statuses.
- Manage the end-to-end administrative lifecycle for third-party vendors, including status tracking and documentation.
- Be responsible for finance and payment tracking for third-party vendors, ensuring all invoices are processed and following up on any payment delays.
- Drive organization across the marketing support function by managing timelines, documentation, and collaborator communications.
- You will actively apply AI tools (such as Google Gemini or similar) to automate repetitive administrative tasks and improve team output.
- Analyze existing manual workflows to identify "friction points" and suggest automated solutions or flow optimizations.
- Support the broader team in setting up and documenting AI capabilities to drive operational excellence across the department.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have 1–2 years of experience in a support or operations role with a focus on music, entertainment or creative industries.
- You prioritize clear organization: You maintain accurate documentation and support the smooth running of team activities.

- You have attention to detail: You are the definitive reference for data and status updates; accuracy is your top priority.
- You are a "persistent chaser" - able to follow up on late payments or missing data with professional persistence.
- You are passionate about music and are deeply interested in learning more about the technical infrastructure that powers global campaigns for your favorite artists.
WE’D LOVE IT IF YOU ALSO HAD:
- Experience using the following platforms, or are familiar with: Excel, Google Workspace (including Gemini), Airtable.

Which music companies in New York sponsor F-1 OPT visas?
Several major employers in New York have established OPT hiring patterns, including Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Spotify's New York offices. Live entertainment companies such as Live Nation and Madison Square Garden Company also hire internationally. Larger labels and streaming platforms with formal HR infrastructure are generally more experienced with OPT documentation requirements than smaller independent labels.
Which cities in New York have the most music F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan concentrates the highest volume of music OPT roles, driven by the corporate headquarters of the three major labels and numerous streaming platforms clustered in Midtown and Hudson Square. Brooklyn has a notable independent music and production scene, particularly in Williamsburg and Bushwick. Outside New York City, Albany and Buffalo have smaller regional music employer bases, but the overwhelming majority of F-1 OPT music positions are within the five boroughs.
What types of music roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship?
Roles with a clear connection to a degree field tend to qualify most cleanly for OPT. Music business graduates often fill positions in A&R coordination, sync licensing, marketing, and artist management. Music technology and audio engineering graduates are placed in product roles at streaming platforms or post-production studios. Roles requiring specialized skills aligned with a degree in music industry, music production, or a related field carry the strongest OPT eligibility footing.
How do I find music F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for music F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in New York, surfacing employers with verified OPT hiring history rather than requiring you to manually screen general postings. You can search by role type, location within New York, and employer sponsorship record. This is particularly useful in music, where OPT sponsorship willingness varies considerably between major labels, streaming companies, and smaller independents.
Are there any New York-specific or music industry considerations for F-1 OPT sponsorship?
New York's music industry operates on project-based and freelance structures more often than most sectors, which can complicate OPT authorization since OPT requires employment that is directly related to your degree field and meets minimum hours thresholds. Students should confirm with their DSO that a role qualifies before accepting. New York State has no additional state-level authorization requirements beyond federal OPT rules, but the competitive hiring environment means early outreach to employers familiar with OPT documentation processes is important.
