ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automated tests using Playwright
- Build and enhance test frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Automate functional regression and smoke test suites
- Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
- Execute tests, analyze failures, and report defects with detailed root cause analysis
- Ensure test stability, maintainability, and optimal execution time
- Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Leverage Playwright features such as fixtures, parallel execution, tracing, and reporting
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality best practices
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of Test Automation frameworks and design patterns
- Experience testing modern web applications (SPA frameworks like React, Angular, Vue)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and DOM concepts
- Familiarity with REST API testing
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer
