Primary Location: United States (US) - North Dakota - Fargo
As a Production Specialist – Kitting (3rd Shift) employee with John Deere in Fargo, ND, you will:
Perform kitting duties in accordance with pre-established labor and quality standards.
Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:
- Perform inventory transactions for all areas including Kanban.
- Perform kitting/prepping as required by manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area. Understand and apply 5S principles.
- Perform general operation and setup of equipment.
- Perform general preventative maintenance and calibrations when required.
- Pull jobs and parts for open jobs.
- Prep parts in accordance with prepping manuals and MWI.
- Maintain equipment log.
- Assist and support other team members.
- Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
This is a third shift position
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at least one of the following:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
- At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
- Ability and willingness to operate a stock picker and working up to 10 feet above the ground.
- Ability and willingness to operate a forklift and maintain applicable certification.
- Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
