This person will play a pivotal role in guiding high-impact new subscriber launches (NSL) and strategic transitions by providing clear ownership, executive-level coordination, and disciplined execution from planning through stabilization.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic orchestrator and execution leader, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple teams and functions during high-impact customer engagements. You'll own the success of new subscriber launches from planning through stabilization, driving alignment, accountability, and exceptional outcomes for our most important relationships.
This is a highly visible, influence-driven role for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and partners seamlessly across teams to deliver confident, outcomes-focused, subscriber experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end new subscriber launches and at-risk transitions, serving as the primary point of continuity and accountability
- Establish clear ownership, milestones, and success metrics across the subscriber lifecycle from planning through stabilization
- Develop and execute comprehensive launch strategies that align business objectives with customer success outcomes
- Establish clear ownership structures, timelines, and success metrics across all launch phases
- Identify and mitigate risks early, escalating issues and implementing solutions proactively
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Account Management, Expansion, Revenue & Growth, Fulfillment & Delivery, and Product teams to ensure coordinated execution
- Lead cross-functional alignment meetings, driving consensus on priorities, dependencies, and accountability
- Break down silos and facilitate communication between teams to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Support and enable existing team structures rather than replacing them, complement and enhance current capabilities
Executive Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Manage executive-level relationships and communications with strategic/priority subscribers
- Prepare and deliver executive briefings, status updates, and business reviews
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and recommend strategic solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex customer situations
Program Management & Accountability
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for each launch
- Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and dependency maps
- Ensure accountability through clear ownership assignments and regular progress monitoring
- Document lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve launch processes
Continuity & Stabilization
- Provide consistent leadership through critical transition points and key milestones
- Ensure smooth handoffs between launch and steady-state operations
- Monitor post-launch performance and support stabilization efforts
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key subscribers
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in customer success, account management, program management, or related roles with demonstrated expertise in managing complex, high-stakes engagements.
- Experience in EHS, ESG, or operational risk management industries.
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience with ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Domain expertise in B2B enterprise customer engagement, SaaS operations, or similar environments.
- Background in customer lifecycle management or customer success operations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and business analytics platforms.
- Experience in a matrix organization or complex organizational structure.
What We're Looking For…
We're seeking domain experts who are passionate about:
- Leading transformational customer engagements and new subscriber launches.
- Building and optimizing processes that scale.
- Solving complex, cross-organizational challenges.
- Driving measurable business impact through strategic collaboration.
- Developing and mentoring high-performing teams.

Search Partnerships Lead Jobs in OhioPartnerships Lead Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Ohio sponsor visas for partnerships leads?
Ohio employers with a track record of sponsoring international professionals in business development and partnership roles include Nationwide, Procter and Gamble, Progressive, Clario, and Avanade. Larger enterprise technology and professional services firms with Ohio offices are generally more active sponsors than small businesses, as they have in-house legal and HR infrastructure to manage H-1B visa petitions and related filings.
What visa types are most common for partnerships lead roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for partnerships leads in Ohio, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. L-1B visas apply to international transfers within the same multinational company. O-1A visas are an option for candidates with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in business development or partnership functions.
How to find partnerships lead visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Ohio-based partnerships lead roles where employers are open to sponsoring international candidates. Search by role and state to surface positions at companies in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Reviewing employer sponsorship history alongside active listings helps you prioritize outreach to companies already familiar with the H-1B process.
Which Ohio cities have the most partnerships lead sponsorship opportunities?
Columbus accounts for the highest concentration of partnerships lead roles in Ohio, driven by its growing technology and fintech sector, as well as large employers headquartered there. Cleveland offers opportunities in healthcare systems, financial services, and professional services firms. Cincinnati is a secondary market with activity in consumer goods, logistics, and regional corporate headquarters, particularly for candidates with backgrounds in strategic partnerships or channel development.
Are there any Ohio-specific considerations for international partnerships lead candidates?
Ohio does not impose state-level licensing requirements specific to partnerships lead roles, but H-1B petitions require employers to file a Labor Condition Application certifying the offered position meets prevailing wage standards for the relevant Ohio metropolitan area. Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati each have distinct prevailing wage tiers. Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University produce graduate talent that feeds regional business networks, which can be a useful context for building professional connections.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnerships lead jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
