Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a VMI Sales Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for daily order management within strategic accounts with the goal of ensuring adequate product supply and replenishment.

Pay Range: $19.47 - $28.56 per hour, depending on experience.
What you will be doing: (1st Shift)
- Provide a high standard of Customer Service
- Visit a pre-determined list of customers daily who require Vendor Managed inventory (cylinders and hardgoods)
- Ensure accuracy of the order, pricing, and processing in JD Edwards
- Convert orders into customer purchase order format and email to purchasing department
- Write credit memos on returned hard goods while taking orders onsite
- Seek opportunities to convert customers to LG&E Express or Electronic Data Interchange payments helping to reduce transaction costs
- Identify & document Prostar (private label brand produced expressly for Linde) conversion opportunities and review quarterly with Territory Managers
- Deliver product to customers as needed
- Communicate effectively with General Sales Manager (GSM), Territory Managers (TM) and Distribution Supervisors
- Assist Territory Managers with cylinder audits, and visit new customer sites, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
