Which companies sponsor visas for strategy analysts in Ohio?
Several large Ohio-based employers have documented H-1B sponsorship histories for strategy and business analyst roles. These include JPMorgan Chase and KeyBank in Cleveland, Nationwide and Cardinal Health in Columbus, and Procter and Gamble and Kroger in Cincinnati. Major healthcare systems such as Cleveland Clinic and OhioHealth also sponsor strategy-focused positions, particularly in healthcare operations and planning functions.
Which visa types are most common for strategy analyst roles in Ohio?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for strategy analyst roles in Ohio, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field. Candidates with a master's degree may qualify for the H-1B advanced degree exemption. Some employers also sponsor TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying credentials and job duties.
Which cities in Ohio have the most strategy analyst sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is Ohio's largest market for strategy analyst sponsorship, driven by its concentration of insurance, financial services, and retail headquarters. Cleveland follows, with strong demand from banking, healthcare, and industrial firms. Cincinnati rounds out the top three, anchored by consumer goods and logistics companies. Smaller markets like Dayton and Akron have more limited sponsorship activity but do offer opportunities through manufacturing and technology employers.
How to find strategy analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to identify Ohio employers actively hiring strategy analysts who require work authorization. Rather than sorting through general job postings, you can browse roles already verified for sponsorship intent, filter by Ohio location, and focus your applications on companies with a track record of international hiring in strategy and planning functions.
Are there any Ohio-specific considerations for strategy analyst roles and visa sponsorship?
Ohio's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions are benchmarked to Bureau of Labor Statistics data for the specific metropolitan area, so Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati each carry different wage thresholds. Ohio's large public university system, including Ohio State University and Case Western Reserve University, produces a significant pipeline of international graduates who pursue OPT and then employer-sponsored visas in strategy and analytical roles across the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy analyst jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
