Which finance companies sponsor E-3 visas in Oklahoma?
BOK Financial, headquartered in Tulsa, is one of Oklahoma's most prominent finance employers with a history of sponsoring skilled workers. ONEOK and other energy-sector companies with large finance divisions also appear in DOL Labor Condition Application filings. Regional banks and insurance firms in Oklahoma City and Tulsa round out the employer pool, particularly for financial analyst and treasury roles.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most finance E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Tulsa and Oklahoma City account for the overwhelming majority of finance E-3 sponsorship activity in the state. Tulsa's concentration of energy companies and BOK Financial creates demand for finance professionals, while Oklahoma City hosts state government finance agencies, insurance firms, and a growing fintech sector. Smaller markets like Norman and Edmond have limited sponsorship activity in finance.
What types of finance roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that consistently qualify as specialty occupations under E-3 rules include financial analyst, credit analyst, risk manager, compliance officer, investment analyst, and corporate treasurer. These positions require at least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related field. General bookkeeping or administrative finance roles typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for E-3 eligibility.
How do I find finance E-3 sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type, so you can search specifically for finance roles with confirmed E-3 sponsorship in Oklahoma without manually screening every employer. The platform surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application filing history, letting you see which Oklahoma finance employers have previously sponsored E-3 workers in roles matching your background. This is more targeted than general job searches that don't filter by visa sponsorship.
Are there any Oklahoma-specific considerations for E-3 finance sponsorship?
Oklahoma's finance sector is heavily tied to the energy industry, so many E-3 finance roles involve oil and gas accounting, energy risk analysis, or commodity trading compliance rather than traditional banking. Employers in this niche expect candidates with relevant coursework or experience in energy markets alongside core finance credentials. OFLC prevailing wage determinations for Oklahoma reflect regional wage levels, which differ from coastal financial centers, so reviewing wage data via the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating is worthwhile.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 finance jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
