Which companies sponsor visas for operations supervisors in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma employers with documented H-1B and employment-based sponsorship activity in operations roles include Williams Companies, ONEOK, American Airlines MRO operations in Tulsa, and defense contractors supporting Tinker Air Force Base. Energy firms along the Tulsa-Oklahoma City corridor tend to sponsor more frequently than smaller regional operators, particularly for roles requiring specialized industrial or logistics management credentials.
Which visa types are most common for operations supervisor roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B is the most common visa for operations supervisors in Oklahoma, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as industrial engineering, supply chain management, or operations management. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management roles. EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based green card categories are also used for longer-term sponsorship.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most operations supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Tulsa and Oklahoma City account for the majority of operations supervisor sponsorship activity in Oklahoma. Tulsa's concentration of energy companies, aerospace MRO facilities, and manufacturing plants generates consistent demand. Oklahoma City sees sponsorship activity through defense contractors, logistics hubs, and state government-adjacent operations. Smaller markets like Broken Arrow and Norman occasionally have openings tied to manufacturing and technology employers.
How to find operations supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to find operations supervisor roles in Oklahoma without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can search by state and role to surface employers actively sponsoring, including those in Oklahoma's energy, aerospace, and logistics sectors. Filtering by sponsorship type also helps narrow results to H-1B or employment-based green card opportunities.
Are there any state-specific considerations for operations supervisor sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's economy is heavily tied to oil and gas, aerospace, and agricultural logistics, so operations supervisor roles in these sectors tend to dominate sponsorship filings. Employers must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific occupation and geographic area, which is set at the county or metropolitan statistical area level. Candidates with credentials in industrial engineering or supply chain from Oklahoma State University or the University of Oklahoma sometimes enter the sponsorship pipeline through those employer networks.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations supervisor jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
