Which companies sponsor visas for patient service coordinators in Oklahoma?
The most active sponsors for patient service coordinator roles in Oklahoma tend to be large integrated health systems. INTEGRIS Health, OU Health, Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, and Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa have histories of filing H-1B visa and other work visa petitions for healthcare administrative staff. Smaller independent clinics and specialty practices occasionally sponsor as well, though large systems file petitions far more consistently.
Which visa types are most common for patient service coordinator roles in Oklahoma?
H-1B is the most common visa category for patient service coordinators when the role meets specialty occupation requirements, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare roles. Some employers also use H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Whether a specific role qualifies depends on how the employer defines the position and its requirements.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City accounts for the largest share of patient service coordinator sponsorship activity in the state, driven by major health systems headquartered there including OU Health and INTEGRIS. Tulsa is the second-largest market, with Saint Francis Health System and Hillcrest HealthCare System employing large administrative workforces. Smaller cities like Norman and Edmond also have clinic-based openings, though sponsorship there is less frequent.
How to find patient service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship and lets you filter patient service coordinator roles by state, so you can browse Oklahoma openings from employers actively willing to sponsor. Because patient service coordinator positions vary in how employers classify them, reviewing each listing carefully for degree requirements and sponsorship language is important. Migrate Mate filters out roles that do not support visa sponsorship, saving significant research time.
Are there any state-specific considerations for patient service coordinators seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's healthcare sector benefits from a strong university pipeline through the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, which means employers are accustomed to recruiting credentialed candidates. For visa sponsorship purposes, employers must pay the prevailing wage as determined by the Department of Labor for the specific Oklahoma county where the job is located, which varies between Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and rural areas. Candidates with healthcare administration degrees tend to have the strongest eligibility for specialty occupation classification.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service coordinator jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
