Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Oregon?
Nike and Adidas in Beaverton, Intel in Hillsboro, and Portland-based companies like Vacasa, Daimler Trucks North America, and Cambia Health Solutions have sponsored director-level product management roles. Oregon's tech sector is smaller than Seattle or San Francisco, but established employers with global operations are more likely to have the legal infrastructure needed to support H-1B visa sponsorship at the director level.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director, product management roles in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. L-1A intracompany transferee visas are also relevant for candidates moving from a foreign office of a multinational employer, which applies to companies like Nike, Adidas, and Intel with large international operations based in Oregon.
Which cities in Oregon have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Portland is by far the primary market for director, product management roles in Oregon, concentrating most of the state's tech, e-commerce, and health tech employers. Beaverton and Hillsboro, part of the Portland metro, are significant secondary hubs due to Nike, Adidas, and Intel. Outside the metro area, sponsorship opportunities at the director level are limited.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters director, product management jobs in Oregon specifically by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from manually screening hundreds of listings. Because director-level roles in Oregon are concentrated among a smaller set of established employers, using Migrate Mate to track which companies are actively sponsoring in this state gives you a meaningful targeting advantage over broad job searches.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for director, product management visa sponsorship?
Oregon does not have state-level visa programs, but employers sponsoring H-1B holders must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements specific to the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan area. Director-level product management roles are classified at higher wage levels, which means the sponsoring employer must meet DOL wage standards for senior positions. Oregon's relatively tight senior tech hiring market means fewer employers at this level actively sponsor compared to larger tech hubs.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
