Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in New Jersey?
Johnson & Johnson, Cognizant, Conduent, Synchronoss Technologies, and Audible have all filed H-1B visa petitions for senior product management positions in New Jersey. Large pharma and financial services firms headquartered in the state, including Merck and Prudential, also sponsor director-level product roles, particularly where technology intersects with regulated industries like healthcare and insurance.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director, product management roles in New Jersey, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Senior candidates may also qualify for the O-1A if they have demonstrated extraordinary achievement. Those already employed by multinationals abroad may be eligible for an L-1A intracompany transfer at the managerial level.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City and Newark see the highest concentration of sponsored director, product management roles, largely due to proximity to New York City financial institutions and major technology campuses. How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters director, product management job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify New Jersey employers actively willing to sponsor. Because sponsorship willingness is rarely stated in standard job postings, Migrate Mate's curated board saves significant time for senior product candidates who need confirmed sponsorship as a baseline requirement before applying.
Are there any state-specific considerations for director, product management sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's high concentration of regulated industries, including pharma, financial services, and healthcare IT, means director, product management roles often require demonstrated experience navigating compliance-heavy product development. Rutgers University and NJIT also supply regional talent pipelines that shape employer expectations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
