INTRODUCTION
Realpage's Leasing platforms power the rental journey — from first inquiry to signed lease — for thousands of property teams and millions of renters across the multifamily industry. We're building the next generation of that experience: AI-native, data-driven, and built to remove friction for both the renter and the leasing team behind the counter.
We're looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead Leasing execution. Reporting to the GM of Leasing & Screening, this Sr. Director will run day-to-day product delivery across multiple Leasing platforms, build and coach a team of product managers, and be a customer advocate and drive where AI and automation create the biggest leverage in leasing. It's a role with real scope — a multi-product platform and a scaled customer base — and real visibility, partnering closely with product and go-to-market leadership to turn company strategy into roadmaps that ship.
Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- AI-first operator. You've fundamentally changed how you work using AI. You use it to automate research, accelerate analysis, prototype quickly, and extend your own reach — and you push your team to do the same. You have a strong point of view on where AI creates real leverage versus where it's noise.
- Proven people leader. You've built, hired, and developed product teams. People do their best work for you, and you're deliberate about coaching, standards, and culture.
- Strong go-to-market and customer instinct. You've owned commercial outcomes — pricing, packaging, positioning, and launches — and you're energized by being in front of customers. You close.
- Delivery-obsessed. You commit to dates and you hit them. You manage dependencies, surface risks early, and drive to outcomes without excuses.
What You'll Own
- Roadmap ownership across OneSite Conventional Leasing, OneSite Affordable Leasing, On-Site, and our AI-driven leasing and workflow automation capabilities – managing cross-product dependencies and working with the GM to turn strategy into shippable plans.
- A team of product managers — hiring, coaching, and building a culture of ownership and accountability across the Leasing product org while strengthening product practices.
- End-to-end delivery, from discovery through launch and optimization, establishing clear and consistent success metrics tied to adoption, revenue growth, retention, and margin.
- Where AI and automation move the needle in leasing — identifying the highest-leverage opportunities and driving them from idea to shipped capability.
- Cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, customer success, sales, marketing, and operations to ship cohesive, scalable solutions — including seamless integration with CRM, Screening, Insurance, Moving, and other third-party platforms.
- The compliance backbone of a regulated industry — ensuring our platforms meet FCRA, FHA, and HUD standards, so the products we ship help renters get fair, equitable access to housing at scale.
- Clear, consistent communication — briefing progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes to product and go-to-market leadership, customers, and your team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must-haves
- 10+ years in product management, including 5+ years leading and managing product teams.
- Experience in multifamily, real estate, or closely adjacent proptech — you understand the customers, workflows, and data.
- A track record owning strategy and execution for complex, multi-product platforms serving a scaled customer base, including commercial ownership (GTM, pricing, packaging, launches, adoption, customer outcomes).
- Strong technical fluency across AI/ML, SQL, analytics, data platforms, APIs, and modern SaaS architectures.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with agentic AI and emerging standards for connecting data and tools to AI agents (e.g., MCP — Model Context Protocol).
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; an advanced degree (MBA or technical MS) is a plus, not a requirement.
HOW YOU OPERATE
- Systems-level thinker who connects product decisions to revenue, retention, and operational efficiency.
- Data-driven decision-maker who defines success metrics, reads performance signals, and iterates fast.
- Fluent in modern product practice — discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, outcome-based execution — with a solid grounding in UX/UI and customer-centered design.
- A clear, credible communicator who can brief senior leadership and a customer meeting with equal ease.
- Adaptable and curious, comfortable making hard tradeoffs while leading with empathy and transparency.

Search Director, Product Management Jobs in TexasDirector, Product Management Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Texas?
Large technology and enterprise companies with significant Texas footprints are among the most active sponsors for director-level product management roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, NTT Data and AT&T in Dallas, and Oracle's Austin offices have filed H-1B visa petitions for product leadership positions. Texas-based fintech, health tech, and SaaS companies in Austin's tech corridor also sponsor regularly at the director level.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director, product management roles in Texas, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field like computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Multinational managers transferring from a parent or affiliate company into a Texas office may be eligible for the L-1A instead.
Which cities in Texas have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Austin concentrates the largest share of director, product management sponsorship activity in Texas, driven by its dense tech sector and the presence of companies like Apple, Google, and Tesla alongside a strong startup base. Dallas-Fort Worth is a close second, with significant demand from enterprise tech, financial services, and telecom employers. Houston contributes primarily through energy tech and health tech companies hiring at the director level.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by role and state to surface director, product management positions in Texas where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to sifting through general job postings with no sponsorship signal. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on roles relevant to international candidates, making it a practical starting point for senior product leaders.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for director, product management roles in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage competitiveness for H-1B petitions since employers must meet Department of Labor wage standards for the specific metro area. Austin and Dallas wage levels for director-level product roles are set separately and have risen significantly as both cities have grown as tech hubs. University pipelines from UT Austin and Texas A&M also feed product management talent into companies already experienced with sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
