Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Texas?
Large technology and enterprise companies with significant Texas footprints are among the most active sponsors for director-level product management roles. Dell Technologies in Round Rock, NTT Data and AT&T in Dallas, and Oracle's Austin offices have filed H-1B visa petitions for product leadership positions. Texas-based fintech, health tech, and SaaS companies in Austin's tech corridor also sponsor regularly at the director level.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Texas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for director, product management roles in Texas, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field like computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates with extraordinary achievement may qualify for the O-1A. Multinational managers transferring from a parent or affiliate company into a Texas office may be eligible for the L-1A instead.
Which cities in Texas have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Austin concentrates the largest share of director, product management sponsorship activity in Texas, driven by its dense tech sector and the presence of companies like Apple, Google, and Tesla alongside a strong startup base. Dallas-Fort Worth is a close second, with significant demand from enterprise tech, financial services, and telecom employers. Houston contributes primarily through energy tech and health tech companies hiring at the director level.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by role and state to surface director, product management positions in Texas where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to sifting through general job postings with no sponsorship signal. Migrate Mate focuses exclusively on roles relevant to international candidates, making it a practical starting point for senior product leaders.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for director, product management roles in Texas?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage competitiveness for H-1B petitions since employers must meet Department of Labor wage standards for the specific metro area. Austin and Dallas wage levels for director-level product roles are set separately and have risen significantly as both cities have grown as tech hubs. University pipelines from UT Austin and Texas A&M also feed product management talent into companies already experienced with sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
