Which companies in Oregon sponsor visas for sales operations roles?
Portland-based employers with established visa sponsorship programs include Nike, Adidas, Intel, and Daimler Trucks North America. Mid-size SaaS companies in the Pearl District and broader Portland metro also sponsor H-1B visa petitions for sales operations analysts and revenue operations managers, particularly when candidates bring specialized CRM platform expertise or data-driven sales planning experience that supports complex go-to-market functions.
Which visa types are most common for sales operations jobs in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales operations roles in Oregon, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in business, economics, information systems, or a related field. Some multinational employers like Nike or Adidas also use the L-1B for intracompany transfers. Candidates from Canada or Mexico may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA if their role aligns with a covered professional category such as management consultant or economist.
How to find sales operations visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Oregon employers actively hiring sales operations professionals. Rather than sifting through thousands of postings manually, you can search for sales operations roles in Portland, Hillsboro, or Beaverton and confirm sponsorship willingness upfront. Migrate Mate also surfaces employers with a track record of H-1B filings in operations and revenue-focused functions.
Which cities in Oregon have the most sales operations sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the majority of sales operations sponsorship opportunities in Oregon, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, regional offices, and a maturing tech startup scene. Hillsboro, home to Intel's largest U.S. campus, generates additional demand for operations roles supporting enterprise sales cycles. Beaverton, where Nike is headquartered, also contributes meaningful hiring volume for international candidates in sales planning and commercial operations functions.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for sales operations sponsorship candidates?
Oregon does not impose a state-level income tax surcharge specific to visa holders, but employers must still meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application for sales operations roles in the Portland metropolitan area. Oregon Health & Science University and Portland State University produce local talent pipelines, so candidates should demonstrate specialized skills in tools like Salesforce, Clari, or Tableau to differentiate themselves with sponsoring employers competing in a mid-size tech market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales operations jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
