- Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility
- Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff
- Complete daily and weekly reports as needed
- Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Resolve employee’s conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.
- Direct communication with company and outside services
- Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor
- Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic
- Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations
- Maintain Outbound Logs
- Weigh and maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous security related experience a plus
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required
- 10-key and computer skills required
- Ability to handle conflict
- Communication skills—written and verbal
- Ability to speak multiple languages beneficial but not required
- Self-starter & Team player
- Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
- Good attendance Record
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Saturdays & Sundays hours as needed or required
