About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Philadelphia office. The position offers the opportunity to support attorneys and legal professionals in a fast-paced legal environment while serving as a key contributor to the daily operations of the practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a law firm or legal setting, exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and court-related deadlines.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.
- Assist with court filings, document management, and recordkeeping.
- Draft routine correspondence and communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Monitor deadlines and assist with docket and case management.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Support billing activities, time entry, and administrative projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal, law firm, or professional service environment.
- Proficiency with MS office suites.
- Experience managing multiple calendars and coordinating schedules.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
