Which staffing companies sponsor F-1 OPT visas in Colorado?
Staffing firms with a presence in Colorado that have historically worked with F-1 OPT candidates include TEKsystems, Kforce, Robert Half, and Apex Group, particularly in the Denver metro area. These companies frequently place OPT workers in contract and contract-to-hire roles. Because OPT is work authorization you already hold, sponsorship for OPT itself is less common than employer support for subsequent H-1B visa sponsorship after OPT ends.
Which cities in Colorado have the most staffing F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of staffing and recruiting jobs in Colorado that accommodate F-1 OPT candidates, driven by its concentration of professional services firms, tech companies, and financial institutions. Boulder and Aurora also have active staffing markets, particularly for technical and IT roles. Colorado Springs has a smaller but growing presence, primarily tied to defense-adjacent staffing and administrative placement.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship?
F-1 OPT does not require employer sponsorship in the traditional sense since it is your own work authorization. However, staffing roles that align with OPT STEM extension eligibility include technical recruiting, data analysis, workforce analytics, and HR technology positions. For non-STEM OPT, internal recruiter, account coordinator, and talent acquisition roles at staffing firms are common placements. The role must be directly related to your degree field.
How do I find staffing F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and professionals on work visas, including F-1 OPT, and filters job listings by visa type and industry so you can find staffing and recruiting roles in Colorado without manually screening each posting. Searching by the Staffing and Recruiting category on Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have indicated openness to OPT candidates in Colorado, saving significant time compared to general job boards.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for F-1 OPT candidates in the staffing industry?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose pay ranges in job postings, which helps F-1 OPT candidates in staffing roles evaluate offers with more information upfront. Additionally, staffing agencies in Colorado frequently use contract-to-hire arrangements, which can be advantageous for OPT holders because they allow time to assess whether the employer would support an H-1B petition before OPT expires. Confirm the agency's H-1B sponsorship policy early in the process.
