Search Partnership Development Manager Jobs in Rhode IslandPartnership Development Manager Jobs in Rhode Island: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for partnership development managers in Rhode Island?
Providence-based employers with established international hiring programs include Amica Mutual, Hasbro, and CVS Health's Rhode Island operations. Technology service firms with offices in the state, including Infosys and Cognizant, have also filed H-1B visa petitions for business development roles. Life sciences companies along the I-195 corridor represent an additional source of sponsorship for partnership-focused positions.
Which visa types are most common for partnership development manager roles in Rhode Island?
The H-1B is the most common visa for partnership development managers in Rhode Island, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as business, marketing, or a relevant technical discipline. Candidates already authorized under L-1B, O-1 visa, or TN visa status may also qualify depending on their background and employer. Some candidates transition from OPT or STEM OPT while employed in the state.
Which cities in Rhode Island have the most partnership development manager sponsorship jobs?
Providence accounts for the large majority of partnership development manager sponsorship activity in Rhode Island, driven by its concentration of financial services, technology services, and healthcare employers. Woonsocket, home to CVS Health's corporate operations, is a secondary market worth watching. The state is small geographically, so most sponsored roles are accessible from a single base in Providence.
How to find partnership development manager visa sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship, and it filters partnership development manager roles by state, including Rhode Island. Rather than sorting through general job listings where sponsorship availability is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from employers with active H-1B or other sponsorship histories, saving significant research time for candidates targeting the Rhode Island market.
Are there any Rhode Island-specific considerations for partnership development managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Rhode Island's smaller employer base means fewer total sponsored openings compared to major metro areas, but competition can also be lower. Brown University and the University of Rhode Island produce graduates who enter local business development pipelines, and some employers in the state's growing biotech and healthcare sectors prefer candidates with ties to local academic or industry networks. Prevailing wage compliance under the H-1B still applies regardless of state size.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored partnership development manager jobs in Rhode Island?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
