Which companies sponsor visas for compliance program managers in Tennessee?
HCA Healthcare and its affiliated entities in Nashville are among the most active sponsors for compliance roles, given their scale and regulatory obligations. Asurion, Nissan North America, and regional financial institutions like Avenue Bank also have compliance hiring needs. Memphis-based FedEx and international logistics firms periodically sponsor compliance program managers with specialized regulatory expertise.
Which visa types are most common for compliance program manager roles in Tennessee?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for compliance program managers in Tennessee, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may also encounter L-1B transfers. Those with extraordinary professional recognition may explore the O-1 visa, though it is far less common for this role.
Which cities in Tennessee have the most compliance program manager sponsorship jobs?
Nashville accounts for the majority of compliance program manager sponsorship activity in Tennessee, driven by its concentration of healthcare systems, insurance companies, and financial services firms. Memphis is the secondary market, with demand coming from logistics, supply chain, and healthcare compliance functions. Knoxville sees smaller but consistent demand, particularly from university-affiliated medical centers and manufacturing companies with regulatory requirements.
How to find compliance program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Tennessee?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Tennessee-based compliance program manager roles where employers are actively open to sponsoring international candidates. Search by role and state to surface positions across Nashville, Memphis, and Knoxville. Focusing on healthcare, financial services, and logistics employers in those searches will reflect where Tennessee sponsorship activity is most concentrated.
Are there any state-specific considerations for compliance program managers seeking sponsorship in Tennessee?
Tennessee has no state income tax on wages, which affects prevailing wage calculations and total compensation comparisons employers make when evaluating sponsored candidates. Nashville's healthcare industry operates under dense federal regulatory frameworks, meaning compliance program managers with CMS, HIPAA, or Joint Commission experience are particularly sought after. The state's growing professional services sector has also expanded demand for candidates with financial crimes compliance and AML program management backgrounds.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored compliance program manager jobs in Tennessee?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
